Moulin Rouge has, in addition to its trademark rights, a set of rights on these elements. It is neither a monument nor a public building.
The “MOULIN ROUGE®” brands are owned and operated by Moulin Rouge SA and Bal du Moulin Rouge SA. These companies also own the rights to the visual elements of the Moulin Rouge, including its sign made up of the famous red mill.
